The location of the cottage is great, not too far from a beautiful stony beach where you can enjoy some lovely walks. It's also a perfect base for exploring the surrounding area. the cottage itself is cute and quirky, with lots of nice finishing touches and original soft furnishings. the bed is very comfortable, and the welcome hamper with fruit, Prosecco, and crisps is a lovely touch.
The shower situation in the bathroom can be a bit awkward, as there is no proper shower and the shower head provided makes it tricky to avoid getting water everywhere.

Just perfect, everything you need is there with a warm welcome from the owner in a beautiful area.
We really enjoyed the luxurious bedding, towels and furnishings. We had a welcome hamper full of lovely gifts and one for our dog too! Clean and smelt beautiful. There is a nice pub within walking distance and a Tesco Express, a chemist, cafe, takeaways. We would recommend as a romantic cosy getaway, we cant wait to book again. Our photos dont give the cottage enough justice.

Wow, the value for money at Dippy Cottage was amazing! The room was beautifully decorated and had so much love and effort put into it. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach. The staff treated me and my grumpy terrier like royalty, with a lovely hamper on arrival. The host, JoJo, was so welcoming and even provided a slow cooker when I asked. Can't wait to return!
The menu for breakfast could have had more options.

We loved staying at this cosy and comfortable cottage. It was more than just a home from home , from the moment we stepped inside, we felt a warm and welcoming atmosphere. the location was perfect, with a lovely village shopping street just a five, minute walk away and a beautiful beach less than a mile away. We enjoyed scenic dog walks and then returned to the cottage, where everything we could possibly need was provided and more. the cottage was clean, well, maintained, and had all the modern conveniences we could ask for. the welcome hamper with bread, milk, coffee, and more was a fantastic touch. This place truly exceeded our expectations and provided excellent value for money. Cons: Almost perfect! 😊.

We recently stayed at a beautifully appointed cottage in Bexhill. It was our first week away in a long time and our first with our rescue dog Loki. The cottage was cosy, clean, and well located in a quiet area near pubs, restaurants, and the train station. It was the perfect base for our adventures and Loki loved it too. The welcome basket was a kind gesture and the courtyard at the back was a suntrap. Couldn't recommend enough!
Would recommend this hotel.

This beautiful, cosy little place was a delightful find. We rebooked another 3 nights on the journey home as we enjoyed it so much. Our host, Jo, went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable, even providing a slow cooker at our request. The cottage was clean, tidy, and filled with everything we needed for a restful stay. We had fun searching for the little wooden mice hidden throughout the cottage. The area was lovely, with plenty to see and do, and good bus service for non-drivers like us. The village had all the amenities we needed, including a nice pub and restaurants.
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.
